BOOK CLUB LESSON: What does it mean to be back-to-school ready?

August 31, 2018

The answer to that question varies. For some kiddos, it means reviewing math facts. However, let's move passed the academics. Let's expand the definition of back-to-school ready!

Some students may need help understanding their areas of strength and how those can help them overcome their weaknesses. Many kiddos will benefit from learning strategies to cope with stress or stay organized. How about equipping them with some grit? By the way, that last one is hands down one of the greatest qualities a person can have (in my humble opinion).

What better way to introduce these back-to-school skills than a book? Here are some gems.
